Everywhere you go you’ll find great design, unusual colour schemes, and original works of art. < More space, more colour, lots of art and design and a high degree of individuality everywhere run through the entire property, from the hotel, the Seefels spa and the premium gym to the restaurants and the Schlossbar. The luminosity of the intense colours, the selected works of art, the thoughtful details from the tableware to the bed linen, combine to create an almost dramatically intense hotel culture that provides the perfect setting for the interior design concept. Nothing is left to chance in this uniquely fascinating refuge by Helena Ramsbacher either.This is equally true of the “Hotel Lemongarden” in Brač, Hotel “Das Tyrol” in Vienna and the Hotel “Knappenhof” on the Rax. The furnishings, the art and collectible objects, the materials, the selected colour nuances and the equally cultivated and knowledgeable allusions of each piece in the hotel, are put together in an exceedingly clever way, and yet in the end, have only one purpose which is to pay homage to the incomparable beauty of the place with the lake and the mountains. the names of the designers read like a who’s who of the interior scene. Rolf Benz, Flos, Wittmann, Venini lamps made of Murano Glass, beds by Tréca, fabrics and wallpaper by Casamance, Pierre Frey, and Manuel Canovas. Plus glass walk-in showers in the airy bathrooms. Luxury is the new standard here at Hotel “Schloss Seefels”. COLOURS AND PATTERNS A veritable eruption of colours, unusual objects, decorative stimulants and cosmopolitan trouvailles combine to create what can be called, without exaggeration, the Seefels style, because Helena Ramsbacher knows about the art of the essence of beautiful things. And again and again the landscape finds its way into the cozy settings of the interiors. 13 designs, from monochrome to botanical prints with flower wheels, cacti, butterflies and climbing flowers to animal prints with parrots, hummingbirds, or peacocks, give the living spaces their unmistakable character. The nine leading colours, from powder pink and light blue to orange and green, can be found in the bedhead and in the inlays on the doors, closets, desks, bedside tables and minibars. Lamps by Venini made of precious Murano Glass and warm white lighting by Flos show all rooms as their creator Helena Ramsbacher had imagined them, and which also include original artworks. PLACES TO BE AND TO EAT And now it’s all about the kitchen art, which of course is always accompanied by fine design. The day begins with a Schloss breakfast. Here guests can choose from more than 100 delicacies, from homemade jams and the finest pastries from Carinthian bakeries to a variety of egg options and many savory and sweet compositions. Served on special porcelain, and this comes from the manufactory Augarten and was designed especially for Hotel “Schloss Seefels”, and is as stylish as everywhere else in the house. Guests are seated in La Terrasse with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. One literally floats above the Wörthersee with a first-class mountain view. It is no coincidence that this place is probably the most beautiful terrace on the < Good Morning. The breakfast experience in the winter garden or on the terrace is as much part of the Schloss as the Wörthersee and the art. Simply wonderful. THE KITCHEN VIRTUOSO RICHARD HESSL and his team have been the culinary representatives of the restaurants at Hotel “Schloss Seefels” for many years. Throughout the year the native Upper Austrian demonstrates his culinary art with spectacular menus made from local products and from suppliers from the lake to the Adriatic Sea. “Summer, sun, vacation and, of course, my beautiful work” is what the award-winning chef associates with the Wörthersee. He has spent his culinary apprenticeship years all over the world, including on a cruise ship in Singapore. The taste of his extraordinary cuisine delights and fascinates hotel guests and those who come to dine from out of town. Everything is simply good, local and seasonal, for example the Techelsberg lamb, the Carinthian reinanke or the sour cream pancakes. 55
