EDITORIAL dreams FOUR HOTELS - FOUR FAVOURITE PLACES DEAR READERS! It has always been my dream to run my own hotel one day. I fulfilled my heart’s desire at the end of the 1990’s and piece by piece lovingly built up my hotel “Das Tyrol” in the centre of Vienna. In 2016 we expanded our private home in Croatia. By purchasing the surrounding stone houses, which have been carefully restored and renovated, we had the opportunity to show not only family and friends, but also our guests what is now “Hotel Lemongarden” in the small fishing village of Sutivan. In 2020 followed the management and loving redesign of the hotel “Schloss Seefels” on the beautiful Carinthian Wörthersee, and finally in 2021, after a short renovation, the hotel “Knappenhof” in the Lower Austrian hiking area Reichenau an der Rax was reopened. HOTELS. PERSONAL. As different as all four hotels are, they have one thing in common: they are a special source of strength (for me). I attach great importance to personality and attention to detail. That‘s why I value every single employee who makes the hotel so special. They are the ones who help our guests with words and deeds during their stay, respond to individual wishes, pamper guests with culinary delights and shine with professionalism. They all have their part to play and contribute to the well-being of our guests. Together we are at our best. That’s why it was important to me to create a magazine that brings together my hotel philosophy in beautiful images and stories. To make you want to visit the places and establishments that are so close to my heart. And then, from Vienna to the Rax, from Lake Wörthersee to the Croatian island, to enjoy everything that my staff and I have devised and put together for you, our guests. In any case, a tailor-made vacation experience awaits you. Whatever suits you: from the city to the mountain, to the lake, to the sea. Each hotel offers an individual melange of art, culture, hospitality, perfect service, and regional, sustainable cuisine. I look forward to sharing my favourite places with you.
