The air across the island is still, cool and fresh as the first rays of the rising sun break through the branches of the olive trees. Scents of rosemary, thyme, sage, and a variety of other wild herbs, as well as of Mediterranean flowers, blend in with the morning fragrance. There was no wind at all during the starry night. Walking through the olive grove, past the characteristic stone walls and curious donkeys, you can take in all the beauty of the landscape. The gnarled olive trees, barely higher than two meters, have been standing here in the same place for several hundred years in some cases. And they still bear precious olives. The branches of the trees are heavy with olives, which shine silky soft in the sun. We arrived at the Olive House, which rises on a slight hill into the morning sky, and where the terrace offers a breathtaking view of the sea several kilometers away, and of the sun rising behind the mainland. It is a unique natural spectacle, an atmospheric interplay of colours, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is an experience not to be missed during a stay at “Hotel Lemongarden”. UNIQUE CHARM The Olive House is located about 15 minutes by car from “Hotel Lemongarden” in the middle of a beautiful olive grove and offers guests of the hotel a unique experience in Croatia. With its careful restoration, modern amenities and a fully equipped kitchen, the Olive House is an oasis of peace and relaxation. Guests can not only enjoy the spacious terrace with panoramic views, but also participate in olive oil tastings, cooking classes or barbecues.
