Ritz-Carlton will soon be the very first hotel chain to start moonlighting as a cruise line. The group’s EVRIMA, one of three brand-new luxury yachts, launches in August. This new fleet closes the gap between cruising and private yachting. The yacht’s five restaurants will serve gourmet cuisine, with one headed by three-Michelin-starred chef Sven Elverfeld of Aqua. One of many highlights is the marina at the rear, where guests have direct access to the sea with a wide range of sporting options. During a one-week cruise, the yacht will stop off at a maximum of five destinations, at each of them, the focus is on curated, fully immersive on-shore experiences.
